WADO is the number one production volume of snowblowers in Japan, and expanding sales network internationally as a global brand.
The company is located in Iwate in the North Japan, and has been manufacturing snowblowers for over 60 years.

Snow Country Japan

The world's highest snowfall depth ever recorded was on February 14, 1927, at Mount Ibuki in Japan. The snowfall record of 1,182 cm (approximately 39 feet) remains unbroken as of 2025.
Additionally, according to AccuWeather, a U.S. weather information provider, the top three cities in the world with the most annual snowfall are all Japanese cities.
WADO has continued to refine its technology and products together with the people living in Japan, one of the world's rarest snow countries.

For Chest-High Snow

The large WADO snow blowers have double spindle augers, allowing to remove snow that has piled up to chest height.
By clearing snow twice or three times, you can clear piled up snow higher than your height.

Optimal Snow Removal Width

We manufacture 23 models with snow removal widths ranging from 65 cm (≒ 26 inches) to 122 cm (≒ 48 inches).
With WADO snowblowers, you can find the snow removal width that best suits your usage.

Ability to Crush Heavy and Hard Snow

The open-end auger used in most models is one of the major features of WADO snowblowers, providing increased power to break up hard snow and snow walls.

All WADO snowblowers are equipped with engines from well-known engine manufacturers such as Honda. Those engines offer high performance and durability, and each model has its own dedicated specifications, making them reliable snowblowers.

Avoid Getting Stuck on Snow

WADO snowblowers have high maneuverable performance thanks to their unique center of gravity balance and rubber track layout.
You can safely clear snow even on soft snow that tends to get stuck.

Pursuing Ease of Use

With most snowblowers, you always work while holding the travel clutch lever with your left hand. You control the vehicle speed with your free right hand. If you release your left hand from the clutch lever, the vehicle will stop moving. This means that you don't have enough hands to change course, adjust the height and direction of the snow thrown, or tilt the snow removal unit up and down or left and right while adjusting the vehicle speed, making it extremely difficult. WADO's large snowblowers use a unique technology that places the travel clutch lever on the grip of the gear shift lever, making it possible to change vehicle speed and switch between forward and reverse while holding the clutch with just your left hand. Other adjustments can be made with your right hand at any time.

Pursuit of Comfort

Water-cooled diesel engine models are designed so that engine heat is flow to the operator. It will keep you warm even when clearing snow in extremely cold conditions.

High Power and Easy Use

Unlike other companies' snowblowers, WADO's large snowblowers have travel clutch lever attached to gear shift lever. You can adjust the speed while holding the clutch lever with one hand, so it's easy to use.

For large snowblowers, diesel engine with strong torque is definitely the best. In areas where snow has piled up after falling from the roof, it often slips and is difficult to clear. But with the power of WADO‘s snowblowers, you can clear the snow by just one trial. That's what makes it easier to use than other snowblowers.

Keep a Operator Warm and Comfortable

Among the many incredible features of the WADO snowblower, one of my favorites is just how much this machine keeps the operator warm! Due to the orientation of the cooling system off the motor, the operator is kept very warm by the direct airflow from the heat of the engine. When the machine is being used on a cold day, the operator has a comfortable amount of warm air to keep them happy and warm!

Impressed with Performance, Quality and Ease of Use

After many years of using various high-quality snowblower models from Switzerland and Japan, I discovered WADO about 6 years ago. The WADO SXC1070HE impressed me with its performance, product quality and ease of use compared to the products I had used up until now. But in the winter of 2024, I couldn't help buying the more powerful WADO SXC1380E. This was the right decision! It exceeds all expectations and impresses in every way. Its unparalleled quality is especially evident in its snowblower performance, snow throwing distance and user-friendly operation.

Excellent Driving Stability

I've been using premium snowblowers for years. I switched from a similar sized model from another Japanese manufacturer to the WADO SXC1070HE, and my best snowblower to date is now in second place, with the WADO being number one.
My previous snowblower had poor straight-line stability when there was ice under the snow, and the operator had to work hard to keep the snowblower moving in the right direction. The WADO has excellent straight-line stability, but also changes direction smoothly. Even in snow so deep that the machine sinks in, the forward momentum is outstanding, and it's like walking behind a locomotive. If you're considering buying a machine, look no further. If you want the best, this is the answer. It's really amazing!
